Festival Participation Form Napa Valley Cinco de Mayo 2008

1) Thousands of people attend the Cinco de Mayo Festival that will be held again this year at the Napa Valley Fairgrounds in Calistoga, on Sunday, May 8, 2011. The festival is full of non-stop entertainment and many activities for children and their families to enjoy including the children's singing contest, ballet folklorico dancers, mariachis and lots of fun and games. The festival is an alcohol-free event, and proceeds go to fund scholarships for students throughout the Napa Valley. A prize will be awarded for the best decorated booth. We’ll see you there!

2) On the back of this form please give a brief description of your activity and the number of people involved; also any equipment you will be using. Vendors may have up to six people at their booth who do not pay admission, but other helpers must pay $5 admission. Names must be registered with Elvia or Rosa prior to the festival. We will provide one table at each booth in the Food Hall, but non-food vendors who will be located on the fairgrounds will be responsible for supplying their own tables. We will have a few tables for rental at $10 each on a first-come, first-serve basis. Vendors are also responsible for providing their own chairs, umbrellas or canopies, and signs.

Food vendors will be located in the Food Hall inside the Tubbs Building, or located at assigned spots on the fairgrounds, and will be limited to a select number of licensed, commercial vendors on a first-come, first-serve basis. Attention will be paid to having vendors sell different kinds of food so that everyone has the opportunity to make lots of money.

3) Food vendors must call Napa County Health Department and request a permit to serve food. Call 707- 253-4471. There is a $35.00 permit fee. Call Elvia Perez at 707-363-0610 if you have questions.

4) Food vendors will be charged a fee based upon the size and nature of your business. For more information, please call Elvia Perez at 707-363-0610. All fees must be paid in advance or on the day of the festival.

5) Merchandise vendors will be charged according to size and nature of your business. For more informaiton, please call Rosa Montanez at 707-942-4204. All fees must be paid in advance or on the day of the festival.

Electricity will be provided to food vendors inside the Tubbs Building, but not to outside vendors. Merchandise vendors will be located throughout the Fairgrounds and are not limited in number.
